UK Triathlon are pleased to
announce the inaugural Henley-on-Thames Triathlon which is
taking place on Sunday the 13th of July 2008! This new and
exciting venue at Henley Leisure Centre is situated just outside
the picturesque town of Henley on the edge of the Chiltern
Hills and the banks of the River Thames. The town is perhaps
best known for the annual Royal Regatta, which attracts some
of the world´s finest rowers. The swim discipline takes
place from the indoor swimming pool followed by the cycle
course which is flat with some undulations and takes in many
fields and trees in this rural route through the Oxfordshire
countryside. The final run discipline is on grass around the
picturesque grounds of Gillotts school. The triathlon is on
at the same time as the Henley Festival and assures a great
weekend away for all the family. There are limited places
