History of UK Triathlon
Race Series
Triathlon
is now recognised around the world as well as being an
established Olympic sport. It is also the fastest growing
participation sport in the UK as it accommodates complete
novices as well as professionals.
The
UK Triathlon Series was established in 1993 with a small
event in Nantwich that had a field of 100 competitors,
the series has grown to become the largest triathlon race
series in the UK today that caters for complete novices,
elite athletes and everyone in between. We stage 8 triathlons
across the UK as well as a running event; with multiple
distances at our events we are accessible to all, regardless
of fitness and ability.
