BIG thank you! goes to all the people
that volunteered their time to help out at the events
in 2009. Without your help, events such as triathlon
would just not happen in the UK. Thank you again and
we hope to see you again in 2010.

Our Triathlon events are some of the largest
in the UK and although we work
hard setting up, running and breaking down an event over
each weekend, it is
very rewarding and we all have great fun doing it. Due
to the increased
popularity of the events there are more tasks to undertake,
from putting up
banners and marquees to filling up drinks coolers and
registration
administration work.
You can come to one or more of the events
throughout the year and for helping to set up the day
before, accepting a role whilst the race is underway and
packing away after, we offer reasonable travel expenses,
free accommodation (some events will be hotel and others
camping!), official race crew polo shirt, pair of Sundog
sunglasses and food and drink for the duration. The existing
race crew are very friendly and will make you feel very
welcome. You don't need to be a triathlete, nor understand
the sport and no experience is necessary.
