UK Triathlon supports these charities, will you?

Cancer Research UKCancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.
Our groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives. Survival rates have doubled in the last thirty years and we have been at the heart of that progress. But one in three of us will still get cancer at some point and our vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that millions more people will survive.

British Heart Foundation (BHF)British Heart Foundation

Heart disease touches us all. Every year, thousands die prematurely, and those who survive can find life difficult and frightening. Every penny you raise helps us continue our vital work – finding new ways to fight heart disease and providing invaluable support to sufferers and their families. None of this would be possible without the efforts of thousands of people like you. Take on a triathlon and help us fight heart disease, Britain’s biggest killer.

1 in 11 Appeal 1 in 11 appeal

Approximately 3,000 babies are born at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust each year, with one in eleven needing additional support – ranging from a few hours of special care to a few weeks in an intensive care unit. Staff on the Unit provide fantastic care for up to 15 newborn babies at any one time, but we need a bigger and better space.

The Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity One in Eleven Appeal aims to raise £1 million for a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with new equipment, modern facilities and more space and privacy for parents, providing some comfort at a difficult time.
