The Event
The race offers not only a spectacular course and venue, but is also a great weekend or day out for all! If you have never done a triathlon before, this is an ideal place to do one! Whether you are a beginner, experienced or professional in triathlon, the race guarantees large crowds to cheer you along when you make your big effort swimming, cycling and running in the triathlon. The South Coast Olympic Triathlon is a perfect spectator course, probably the best in the UK, which is ideal for family and friends who may come along to support you and watch the non stop action in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. All entrants receive the free, 2013 finishers medal and there are prizes for the top 3 male and female triathlete in all races as well as age group prizes in the Sprint and Olympic Triathlon and general spot prizes.

Fun:                               200 metre Swim - 10 km Cycle - 2.5 km Run   Super Sprint:                 200 metre Swim - 10 km Cycle - 2.5 km Run   Sprint:                           750 metre Swim - 20 km Cycle - 5 km Run   Olympic:                        1500 metre Swim - 40 km Cycle - 10 km Run   Relay:                            1500 metre Swim - 40 km Cycle - 10 km Run                                       (One competitor for each leg!)

 

For the Triathlon all you will need is
Swimming goggles (not compulsory but recommended), swimming costume or trunks, bicycle (must be road worthy), cycle helmet & running shoes or trainers.
