The Event
The Stratford 220 Triathlon is a fun but challenging event set around the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The event is aimed at all abilities, at all levels of fitness, from complete novice to club and pro triathlete, as well as charity and fun competitors. All entrants receive the free quality 2012 finishers medal and there are prizes for top 3 male and female in both the Super Sprint & Sprint competitions as well as age group prizes in the Sprint Triathlon and general spot prizes. Whilst you are at the race you can visit the 2012 UK Triathlon Expo for free, making Stratford a great day out for all the family and a chance for you to see all the latest products the world of triathlon has to offer.
Distances
Fun: 200 metre Swim - 23 km Cycle - 2.5 km Run
Super Sprint: 200 metre Swim - 23 km Cycle - 2.5 km Run
Sprint: 400 metre Swim - 23 km Cycle - 5 km Run
Relay: 400M Swim - 23K Cycle - 5K Run (One competitor for each leg!)
For the Triathlon all you will need is
Swimming goggles (not compulsory but recommended), swimming costume or trunks, bicycle (must be road worthy), cycle helmet & running shoes or trainers.

On stage talks!
Gain valuable advice and tips on training and taking part in triathlon from some of the UK’s top advisors and coaches. The talks are aimed at all abilities from total novice to experienced triathletes and are FREE of charge, just take a seat in front of the stage just before your chosen talk(s) start, relax and enjoy. There will be questions and answers at the end of each talk so it could be an ideal opportunity to solve some of those niggling problems that hinder your training or taking part in triathlon.
